2026-2027 Supply Lists

Welcome Norwood parents and families! We’re excited to kick off a new school year with your child. Grade level supply lists are available below. If your child’s teacher requires additional items, you will receive a letter from them this summer in the summer mailing and via ParentSquare.

Grade K

  • 1 backpack large enough to fit a 2-pocket folder plus a luncbox
  • Scissors
  • 1 black and white composition notebook
  • 3 boxes of crayons (24 count)
  • 1 plastic pocket folder with the pockets on the bottom
  • 9 large glue sticks (may need frequent replacement)
  • 1 pack of shrpened pencils
  • 1 pack of thick markers (10-pack)
  • 2 black thick dry erase markers
  • 1 box of colored pencils
  • 2 thick yellow highlighters
  • Headphones with a wire (no earbuds)
  • A change of clothes in a Ziploc bag, labeled with your child’s name

We will gladly welcome donations of tissues, Ziploc bags (all sizes), baby wipes and liquid soap.

Please be sure to put your child’s name on their backpack, lunchbox, folder and change of clothes. Please put all other supplies in a large bag with your child’s name on the outside.

Grade 1

  • 1 3-ring binder (1 inch hardcover)
  • 2 durable bottom-pocket folders (1 green and 1 red, plastic folders are best)
  • 48 #2 sharpened pencils (We will be storing some for later)
  • 1 hard-cover pencil holder (to fit in the desk)
  • 3 boxes of Crayola crayons
  • 1 Fiskars student scissors
  • 20 large glue sticks
  • 1 dry eraser
  • 8 black dry erase markers
  • 4 yellow highlighters
  • 1 pair of the ear adjustable band headphones (no Bluetooth or wireless)
  • 1 Happy 1st Grader - Ready to Learn!

Please put a box of crayons, scissors, 5 pencils, 1 glue stick, 1 highlighter, 1 dry erase marker, and 1 eraser into the hard-covered pencil storage box. You can put the extra supplies in a large Ziplock bag labeled with your child’s name on it. The folders, and binder do not need to go into the Ziploc bag.

As we go through the year, we will replenish the supplies that we use up most frequently: glue sticks, highlighters, dry erase markers, and erasers. The children do not need markers or colored pencils. 

Donations of tissues and baby wipes are always appreciated throughout the year.

Grade 2

  • 4 boxes of sharpened pencils
  • 1 hard cover supply box
  • 2 large pink erasers
  • 6 glue sticks
  • 1 pair of Fiskars scissors
  • 1 box of Crayola crayons (24 count) – no RoseArt
  • 1 marble notebook
  • 6 black Expo markers
  • 2 plastic folders
  • 2 highlighters
  • 1 set of over-the-ear headphones with a cord (no Bluetooth)
  • 1 independent reading book
  • No markers please!

If you’d like to send in a water bottle with your child, we ask that you strongly consider providing your child with a plastic reusable water bottle each day. Metal water bottles are quite loud when they fall onto the floor. Thank you for supporting a peaceful lerning environment for all!
