Students at Norwood Avenue Elementary School put together a parade for Thanksgiving! Titled "Balloons Over Norwood," students in various classes read the story "Balloons Over Broadway" by Melissa Sweet and had discussions on how they would build their own balloon and what materials they would use. The students then used planning pages to design their balloon as well as wrote steps on how they would make their balloon. This PBL lesson allowed students to use their creativity, curiosity, and collaboration to put together this parade for all of Norwood to see.
