Port Jefferson Station / Terryville Civic Association: A non profit, non-political association; neighbors helping neighbors for the benefit of the whole community. The Civic Association works together with residents, other local organizations, and our government officials on issues which make the Port Jefferson Station / Terryville area a place that we can all enjoy as a community and be proud to call our home.

Port Jefferson Station / Terryville Chamber of Commerce: A group of local business owners, managers and leaders. The Camber supports the general welfare of its members by providing fundamental and meaningful programs that focus on providing a positive impact on the development of a stronger local economy, growth, political awareness, and by fostering a foundation of programs that bring business and community together.

Greater Port Jefferson-Northern Brookhaven Arts Council: The mission of this organization is to support artistic activity in the Northern Brookhaven area embodying music, film, theater, literature, dance and visual arts and all educational and cultural endeavors as they relate to the arts. This mission is accomplished by coordinating efforts with arts organizations, artists, local municipalities, schools, art galleries, libraries, theaters and other such organizations within the community that share our common goal.

Comsewogue Parents Music Association: The Comsewogue Parents Music Association (CPMA), is a collaborative effort of parents, teachers, administrators, and school board members, wishing to foster a continued appreciation for music in our schools. Founded in 2001 by five parents, it has grown to be a 200-member association. We strive to promote, educate and infuse music into our schools from the elementary chorus to the high school symphonic band.

Sound Symphony Orchestra: A unique and exciting orchestra that presents a series of concerts of great music, performed by members of the community, for the community. The Sound Symphony presents a series of outstanding programs, both of classical and contemporary composers. The orchestra seeks to encourage talented young musicians with its annual Solo Competition and provides three in-school programs: "The Toy Symphony," The Incredible String Machine," and "Jazz It Up!" to school districts throughout Suffolk County. Best of all, the Sound Symphony rehearses and performs at Comsewogue High School.

Parents for Megan's Law: A not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the prevention and treatment of child sexual abuse and rape, the provision of services to victims of violent crime, and elderly, disabled and minor victims of all crime. Violence directed against victims is an abuse of power, often directed at our most vulnerable, and must be met with unwavering resolve to hold perpetrators accountable, and provide victims with the support and services they need. Parents for Megan’s Law and the Crime Victims Center is committed to informing victims of their rights, involving them in the decision making process, securing crime victim compensation to which they are entitled and treating every victim with respect and dignity. The organization provides victim services training to law enforcement and works collaboratively with them to ensure an accurate and up-to-date sex offender registry. Parents for Megan’s Law staffs the Local and National Megan's Law Help lines. The organization is a New York State Certified Rape Crisis Center. Call 1 (888) ASK-PFML.
