Welcome to the Comsewogue School District. We are located primarily in the Port Jefferson Station and Terryville areas of northern Brookhaven Town, in Suffolk County, New York. Our school district educates approximately 4000 students in four elementary schools, a middle school and a high school.

In past years, New York State has given three of our schools recognition as Schools of Excellence in the national Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence Program. All six of our schools achieved full accreditation without any stipulations or recommendations from the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Education. Comsewogue is in the enviable position of having above average program results with a tax burden in the lower third of the 19 Brookhaven Town school districts. The Comsewogue community takes great pride in the academic, athletic, and artistic achievements of its young citizens. This pride is evidenced by the high standards to which it holds its professional educators; the popularity of student athletic, musical, and dramatic events; and the continuing, long-term support of school district budgets.

I take great pride in the Comsewogue School District and I am so proud to be your superintendent! Every effort is made to help students and parents receive the best possible service from all of our employees. The purpose of this website is to provide information about the Comsewogue School District, highlight some of our initiatives for the current school year, and provide links to reports and information which may be useful to parents, community members, and potential new residents.

With continuing support from parents, taxpayers, and local business leaders, Comsewogue will remain a wonderful place to live and raise children, and then to watch them grow to be educated, young citizens.
